About this course
Your understanding of Business Etiquette is one of the more important soft skills you will bring to your business relationships. This Ecourse, Business Etiquette for Professionals, was designed by Alice Thomas-Roberts, a former Chief of Protocol, and Senior Foreign Service Officer for the Government of Grenada. In this course, Alice shares her passion, experiences and knowledge in a frank and honest way to inspire professionals and aspiring professionals to acquire and build the skills necessary to feel comfortable and confident in their business relationships.
Many people are qualified technically or academically for the positions they hold, but have difficulties communicating, networking, managing their emotions, or understanding and accepting cultural and social differences.
The sessions are practical with real life scenarios that highlight situations which professionals are likely to deal with in their workplaces, and while representing their companies in social settings.
This course will have you considering appropriate conversation, body language, email and social media etiquette, dress codes for different occasions, guest behaviour at receptions and dinners and even the role of the host at such events, in addition to many other important details.
This is a ten (10) lesson course that may be completed as fast as participants would like to, or by doing one lesson per week.
The information you acquire from participating in this course will serve you well for life.
