About this course
Learn about famous women in Grenada’s history. This includes women who have played an important part to where we are today in Grenada. Women such as Dame Hilda Bynoe, the first female Governor, Cynthia Gairy, one of the first female ministers after independence, Jennifer Hosten, who became Miss World and made history for Grenada to Jean Augustine who was the first Black woman elected to the House of Common in Canada. You can also look for hidden clues, objects, and animated characters throughout the course. Attached to the course package, there are fun learning activities such as Drag the words and Fill in the blanks. Perfect for kids, ages 12 to 15.
